HELLO DOLLY! OH HELLO DOLLY

Dolly Levi is a cleaver working woman. That's what I loved about her. She's charming, clever but also very kind hearted. My original idea to try her wearing pants for her opening look stemmed from this. I enjoy that this show tells the story of someone who helps people who is a part of the busy town and she gets to fall in love while putting her hand in everyones business. The magic of this classic musical is something that is always fun to work on and watch it come to life. A cast of 25 with a minimum of 4 looks each.

I am very hands on designer and loved working a bit more than usual in the shop to make these looks come to life. Many looks were build from scratch including dyeing fabrics, adding trim etc. The hats were designed and created for the show.
